The visit marked an important continuation of cross-border cooperation between Slovenian and Austrian artists, cultural workers, and partner organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was designed as an open space for the exchange of experiences, perspectives, and ideas. The central part of the visit was a <strong>roundtable discussion involving all participating partners<\/strong> from the Slovenian and Austrian sides, during which participants discussed their cooperation to date, opportunities for further collaboration, and the challenges faced by artist-run spaces in the contemporary cultural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special emphasis was also placed on <strong>a discussion among the participating artists<\/strong>, who presented their thoughts on the creative process, community work, the conditions for artistic practice, and the significance of international exchanges. The discussion raised numerous questions about the role of art in the local environment, about connections between cities, and about the potential for long-term cooperation between Maribor and Graz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants also visited <strong>art studios in Schaumbad<\/strong>, where they encountered firsthand the creative spaces of local artists. The studio visit provided insight into the diverse artistic practices, production conditions, and operating methods of one of the most prominent independent art communities in Graz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit confirmed that cross-border cooperation does not arise solely through formal projects, but primarily through meetings, conversations, shared presence, and direct exchange between people.
